Exactly as described. Works as expected. Best part of this drive is the large capacity in portable format at a good price. However, I'm spoiled by speed of SSD drives. The read/write speeds of this and all other magnetic hard drives seem ridiculously slow in comparison to SSD. If I have all night to allow a computer backup to be written to this drive while I sleep, it's fine. Transfer speeds of USB 3.0 are pointless if the electro-mechanical parts of the drive can't fill the channel with enough data to leverage that transfer speed.

As of now, I own 3 of these drives in 4 TB size. One of them I was using as my Time Machine backup for mac OS a little under a year. One day the drive just stopped working, would not mount. Disc Utility could not even see the drive. The light on the drive was on, but it was dead. Seagate is replacing the drive, but I have completely lost the safety net of my Time Machine backup. Now I feel kind of scared using these drives to back up my gigs and gigs of files as a graphic designer.

This product is a standard 4tb storage drive. My problem is that it only has 200GB of cloud storage when its a 4TB drive. At the current rates of online backup storage, why not include it all. It kinda makes no sense to even include 200GB when its a 4TB drive.

Its awesome, small, little heavy, but need to consider it's 4 tb. Fast USB 3 speed, about 40mb-90mb transfer speed, but make sure whatever you connect to is USB3 too.
