READINGTON — QuickChek’s fresh coffee just got even fresher, just in time to celebrate National Coffee Day.

The Whitehouse Station-based fresh convenience market chain is introducing its new Locally Roasted Coffee in conjunction with selecting Regal Commodities in Totowa as its new roaster, according to a news release.

By shortening the time for its coffee to reach its stores — the North Jersey roastery is minutes from ships bringing coffee beans into Port Elizabeth — coffee consumers can enjoy more fresher tastes as tming affects coffee’s flavor and quality.

The distribution radius from the new roastery now ranges from 1.3 miles to their closest store to just 96 miles to their furthest … so fresh-tasting coffee is now days (not weeks) away, according to the news release.

Local roasting also provides QuickChek with the ability to create more small-batch flavors and varieties favored by today’s consumer. So those specialty and gourmet coffee drinkers who are fond of QuickChek’s Limited Time Only coffee flavors and seasonal favorites such as Harvest Spice, S’mores and Kris Kringle, will have even more new flavors to savor throughout the year.

QuickChek is celebrating the launch of its new Locally Roasted Coffee with a “Buy-One, Get-One” free offer for six consecutive Fridays beginning on National Coffee Day, Sept. 29, to Nov. 3.

Named maker of the best coffee in America in national consumer survey by Technomic in 2014, QuickChek has 150 fresh convenience market store locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island. Visit www.quickchek.com or download the QuickChek mobile app.
